A message from the County Commissioner May 2008 Thanks for those of you who turned out to
the AGM at Slimbridge on that dreadful wet evening a couple of weeks ago. I had
a wonderful time and hope you did too. I would also like to thank Angela and
Patrick Marks for the many hours they spent compiling the County’s Annual
Report 2007 – I thought it gave a wonderful picture of all that is going on in
Gloucestershire at the moment. I guess by now there will be almost 1000
Brownies all over the County getting very excited about going to Longleat in a
week’s time – I certainly am, and know that we will have a very exciting
Adventure and meet lots of other Brownies as well as lions, monkeys and various
other wild animals. See you there!! Sue Matthews
